Prevention Education for Teachers and other youth workers offers an in-depth examination of underage drinking and substance abuse, and how to identify and help youth who are at risk. CEU's are available.
is an evidenced-based, four-day, hands-on program that has enabled thousands of teenagers to learn what it means to be a community leader. Teens explore a broad range of issues relevant to them while they develop prevention programs that address a specific issue in their communities. With the support of their sponsoring organizations and IHD staff, Teen Institute graduates put their prevention programs into action as soon as they return home.
is a model, bilingual program designed for immigrant parents. PAT builds a support network and teaches the skills they need to ensure their first generation American children avoid alcohol and drugs. PAT received a national award as an Exemplary Substance Abuse Prevention Program.
