Stephen Gumbley, MA, ACDP II,
specializes in advocacy, education, prevention, treatment and recovery of substance use disorders. He has served as clinical and programmatic administrator of a wide range of treatment programs. He is Director of the New England Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) at Brown University. Steve chairs the board of Faces & Voices of Recovery, and serves on the board of RI Communities for Addiction Recovery (RICARES). He has been in sustained recovery from addiction since 1986.
Denise Howard, BA,
is a licensed chemical dependency professional who has been working in the substance abuse field for more than 20 years. Denise is currently the executive director of operations and compliance for Discovery House, a national substance abuse treatment organization.
Dina Day, BA,
the vice president of Graystone Studios Ltd., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in executive management. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Rhode Island and holds a certification in elementary education
Don Mays, BFA,
is the associate director of undergraduate admission and coordinator of multicultural recruitment at RogerWilliams University. A classically trained actor, Don has also directed theatre and film for many years.
James Gillen, LCDP, CCJP,
is manager of the Providence Center's Recovery Services Division and the Anchor Recovery Community Center.Jim is also actively involved in support programs for the homeless. In 2009,he was chosen RI Recovery Advocate of the year.
